This coming June 6 to 8, 2018, the city of Bangkok will be host to the biggest agribusiness trade show in the region which is going to be held at the Impact Exhibition and Convention Center. It is expected that agribusiness people from neighbouring countries will be attending. They can stay in various hotels in the city including the hotel near Central World in order to be close to the event. The attendees will be able to earn ideas and learn about the latest technologies and products in the agriculture market.
Pauline Alary, one of the event organizers, said that many brands manufacturing farm equipment and machineries are going to be featured. Filipino attendees are expected to be one of the highest numbers because farm mechanization is currently the focus of the Philippines. This will make farming efficient, decrease the production costs and improve the quality of the products from their agribusiness.
Alary added that there will be exhibits showcasing power equipment as well as tractors. There are going to be accessories and spare parts available on site as well. Aside from that, attendees will see various products such as equipment used in food processing and packaging, management systems for irrigation and water, greenhouse structures, products to protect crops, machineries dedicated for postharvest, embedded electronics, fertilizers for seeds and organic options and facilities that are designed for dairy and milking process.
The show will be showcase top brands in the industry including Manitou which is known for manufacturing heavy equipment used in construction and agriculture and they also make farm machineries. Vietnam’s vice minister for agriculture is set to be one of the event honoured guests. The Agribusiness Show will last for three days and there will be workshops provided along with conferences.
Pauline Alary said that the SIMA Asean exhibition which was conducted in the previous year was a huge success therefore they are expecting the same result for this upcoming event. Attendees can book their hotels, such as hotel near Central World, as early as now to avoid running out of good accommodation options. This is the third time that Sima conducted an event in Thailand.
